I’ve taken classes at Unleashed this past year and found the instruction to be excellent. Angela breaks down movement into very specific details so that you can understand where the movement is coming from. She is also very aware of how to help you avoid injury. Classes are fun and have a great consistency with enough repetition to help you retain what you’ve learned!

This is the best place in Calgary to take dance classes. Their space is well maintained, clean, big and their teachers are so amazing. They make dancing so much fun whether youre 3 or 93 and there are so many fun classes to choose from. Their rates are fair and they even let you make up a class if you miss one. The childrens dance programs are wonderful - they keep it fun while making sure technique is learned. The adult dance classes range from ballet and West African to ballroom and drumming!

My daughter danced at the Walnut Grove School of Music and Dance for fifteen years. Grace experienced a wide variety of dance genres such as ballet, jazz, lyrical, and contemporary. The dance teachers are exceptional and along with their caring attitudes, knowledge & expertise made my daughter's experiences so memorable. Her dance groups were close and she maintained relationships with some of her classmates and teachers. The school was her second home away from home! She loved the studio!

Allegro Performing Arts studio has exceded my expectations for my three kids! The teachers treat each child like their own and give them the confidence, strength and skills to excel in dance. From the tiny tots classes to the adult hip hop Allegro is the place to dance for every style and level! Gerald, Robin, and Co. have truly created a wonderful atmosphere to which anyone can learn to dance. Dancenergy provides a mix of private and group lessons, specialty nights (Ex. WCS Wednesdays), group dance parties, and social dancing. I am impressed and grateful for Gerald's dedication to his students. He takes pride in ensuring all feel welcome and enjoy their time at Dancenergy. He works hard to ensure all are having fun and easily tailors the lessons to meet the skill set or desires of each student. I have taken both group and private lessons with Gerald and I am an inaugural member of the WCS Team. Gerald balances his lessons well with both laughter and hard work. I have been part of this studio for 6 months now and I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. I have tried out classes at a few other dance studios in calgary and I find Marcos to be the best teacher by a long shot. All the other students are very welcoming and fun.
I've learned so much in my 6 months dancing here and I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new experience or to build confidence and make friends.

It is so fun, and exciting and original, and I would highly recommend joining this class with Susan as your teacher. Great environment and great teacher!
